About:Dual Nationality

I am a pure filipino citizen but my girlfriend is a pure chinese and she live in beijing. We are planning to have our wedding engagement. And I wanted to live in china. What is the things I must do although chinese is strictly declining dual nationality.

However, I already went in china for once as a tourist. Need some help.

Well, if you hope to live in China, first you should hold a residence permit of China. However, only D,Z, X, J-1 visa holders can apply for a residence permit in China. If you come to China as a tourist (i.e. you hold a L visa), you cannot apply for it. I suggest you find a job in Beijing and then go back to Philippines to apply for a Z visa. In this way, you would use your Z visa to get a residence permit.

well the information i got is that just apply for a chinese passport but you would have to show the marriage certificate.
