i am a filipina from philippines and i'm living now  here in japan for almost 10 years and i'm holding a japan permanent visa.i'm planning to visit china on May.how could i apply for china visa to visit the place.when i apply china visa is it personal appearance or it possible to apply by mail only?your reply is a good help for me.thanks!

It is better apply for the visa in person. If you reallly can not be present, you can entrust some one or agency to act on your behalf.
