The wall took many years to build and thier is no specific date that it was built. If was created from many smaller walls that they simply connected (not realy simply but you get my point). The wall was only finished at about 1368-1644ad during the ming dynasty.

it was made out of whatever was by where they were making it, for examplae rocks or mud. and since so many people died (about 2-3 million) while they made it, the dead people were burried inside of the wall.
