I think it is a good choice to visit Guiin in June.
My suggestion is that you'd better not to take a trip during China national day(Oct 1st - 7th) holiday,but travling in June is ok. The temperature in June is not quite hot. As to the number of mosquitos, sorry, I can not answer this question.
