About:Kanas Nature Reserve

My husband and I visited the off-track parts of Xinjiang last November. Kanas Nature Reserve was open for free in the winter travel season. The site will continue opening for free until April 15(from Nov.15). We enjoyed the wintry scenery. We visited there by snowmobile, horse-drawn sleigh and by horse. It was of great fun.
Kanas Nature Reserve was said to be the snowiest scenic area in Xinjiang with a fine and delicate snow texture. The average snowfall of the mountainous area of the reserve is above one meter (three feet) deep. The reserve held many folk-custom tour activities such as skiing, skating, horse-drawn sledge racing and an archery contest. In addition, the reserve also gave continuous weather reports and provided good services and protective measures for visitors. I enjoyed the trip.
