Hi, I'll be travelling to Xian with a family of five. Is it nearer to fly from Beijing to Xian or from Guangzhou to Xian from Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia ? We'll be there for 5 days . What shall I visit and where shall I eat the local cuisine ? Thanks

I live in KL, and will visit Xian in March with a friend. We'll be taking the 6:50am Air Asia flight from KL to Shenzhen. Then, take a connecting flight to Xian. We are able to book our China domestic flights and our hotel via internet. I believe there'll be many flights from Guangzhou too. I've not travelled to Xian from Beijing before. So can't advise on that.

I am traveling from Beijing to Xian next week. Both Air China and China Eastern have several daily flights to Xian from Beijing.

Hi,Mrs Tan: Xi'an have so many delicious cuisine.Such as the dumpling banquet , the Paomo, the hot-pot , the hand made noodles , etc. You can enjoy the dumplings in the Defachang restaurant(near the drum tower),and some other snacks in the muslim street.
