The Emperor Shen Nung lived in the earlier times than the Xia Dynasty. It's said that he is the inventor of Chinese agriculture and medicines. He taught others about how to farm and how to irrigate. According to legendary, Emperor Shen Nung was born to have a crystal-transparent belly. His internal organs could be seen very clearly. Even what he ate could be seen. Many people think that Emperor Shen Nung is actually the Emperor Yandi.
