Train: N418 (shanghai-huangshan), 22:35 - 10:00 and the soft sleeper ticket cost 250-260 rmb(Train No.2182 can also reach Huangshan but its arrival time is in midnight, so N418 is recommended, ticket price is cheaper)
Air: Hongqiao Airport has flights to Huangshan and the whole journey takes one hour or few minutes longer. It costs 580 for the economy. February is in the low season to the mountain. There may be some discounts.
Bus: You can find long-distance bus in Shanghai Passenger Transport Termial (2 buses a day) and the south bus station(4 buses a day). Ticket price: about 100.

1. Is it recommended to go to Huangshan under DIY package without Tour Guide?

2. How is the hotels' rate ranges?

3. Is it possible to walk-in or need to have reservation for the hotel prior travel to Huangshan?
