About:China Transit Visa

I am Travelling on Indian Passport to Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia) via Beijing. I will reach Beijing on 27th Jan 09 at about 8:00 P.M. I have flight for Ulaanbaatar on 28th Jan at 11:00 A.M in Morning.
Do I require Visa, If I stay in some Hotel during the night in Beijing & what kind of Visa would I require.

Hi Mr.Tushar Dhar,

Any chance you can share your findings? As I will be in a very similar situation as you. I will be in transit in Beijing for 26 hours and wonder if I need to get a visa for such short stay.
