About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

To Whom It May Concern,

I hold a US passport and am a permanent resident in Singapore. I travel to China frequently both for leisure and business. I am holding a 1-yr multiple entry visa, expiring on Dec 27, 2008, but am told this type of 1-yr visa is no longer available. I'd appreciate to get answers for the following questions:

a. What is the longer multiple entry visa that is available now? How long will it take to get it?

b. I am applying for renewal on Monday, Dec 22 and plan to travel on Dec 31, 2008. Is it possible?

Thank you!

Sincerely,

George C. Tan
