About:Buddhism

I do know what you are saying I was once at a time where i had know religion but I am determined to do this even if it sounds foolish because of my age.
But I understand why being a vegetarian would come into it with being peaceful and things like that.
I do thank you all for your help and advice. But are any of you Buddhists??? Because I would like it if you could tell me some need to know things on buddhism. the internet is not a great resourse on buddhism.....
please write back.

I'm not a Buddhist. But I know to be a Buddhist you have to abstain from killing animals, stealing, lewdness, the spreading of falsehoods and drinking alcohol. They are five fundamental commandments of Buddhism. Besides, there are many other commandments that a Buddhist must abide.
