About:Lingering Garden

Hello. I am a Jamaican national temporarily residing in Japan. Do I need a visa to visit China for 5 2 weeks and if so can I apply by mail in Japan?

Hi, Ms.Ayesha, yes, you need a visa to enter China. Mail application is not acceptable. You may apply for the visa by yourself or entrust a travel agency to apply for you.

As Mr. Shi Jin said,
1. If you apply for Tourism visa, you need hold Japanese Long-Stay Visa (more than one year).
2. If you apply for other categories of China visa, you need have Certificate of alien registration (to the aliens who have the visa with the saty period of more than half a year in Japan)
