About:Ta'er Monastery

I am Filipino Citizen working as a seaman. I'm staying here in the Mingzhu Hotel in Fuzhou China while waiting for our newlybuilt ship. We will stay here until last week of December. I to apply a visa for my wife to follow me here by December 12-15. She will stay here in same hotel for about 3 - 4 days. What kind of visa shall i apply for her.Thanks

She can apply for Crew Visa(C Visa) in Chinese embassy or consulates in Philippines. You can't apply for a visa for her in China because aliens should apply for China visa in Chinese embassies and consulates to foreign countries or regions before entering China.

PS: Crew Visa(C Visa): Issued to crewmembers on international aviation, navigation and land transportation missions and family members accompanying them.

Mr.David P. Obog Jr, You wife also can apply for Tourist Visa (L Visa). L visa is issued to those who are going to China for sightseeing, family visiting or other private reasons.
