About:China Embassy in Thailand

How to renew my passport?
- What kind of materials i should prepare?
- How long can i get my new passport?
- When are the working days and what time?
- How much is the fee?

If you want to renew your Chinese passport in Chinese Embassy in Thailand
1. You should prepare the following documents:

(a) Your old Chinese Passport, Residence Permit of Thailand (original and copy)
(b) One completely filled in <<Passport / Travel Permit / Seafarer’s Passport / Entry Permit Application Form of the People’s Republic of China>>. You can download from http://th.chineseembassy.org/chn/lsfw/bgxz/
(c) Three passport style photos which are taken in recent six years (with front view, not hat, against white background, size of the photo 48mmX33mm, width of head 21mmX24mm, length of head 28mmX33mm)

2. At least three months later, you can get your new passport.
3. Except for the Public holidays of China and Thailand, Saturdays and Sundays.
4. 2,100 Bahts for Renewing Chinese Passport.

Tips:
1.You can also go to Chinese Consulate in Chiang Mai or Chinese Consulate in Songkhla if you are near to them.
2. You should come to Chinese embassy or Consulates in Thailand in person.
