If you want to stay in China 144 days Visa Free (with traveling a-b-c), how many times are you able to do this within a certain period? Is it possible to do (a-b-c) twice a month or only once a 180 days?

No limits, literally.By the way, if you are a citizen of Netherlands, you can enter and exit China as much as you wish free from visa free regulations because the citizens of Netherlands can enter and stay in China visa free for up to 15 days, again, in unlimited number during a particular time frame.
