About cash withdrawal in banks...

Since withdrawing more money from the atm is such a hassle, only 2000 RMB each time and 20000 RMB is the max amount one can withdraw per day(does it means I got to make withdrawal 10 times in order to get this amount?)--my question is--can I go straight to the Bank of China or ICB and use my visa/master cards to make bigger amount of cash withdrawal directly ?thank you

Of course, you can. You can go into any branch business hall of the Bank of China or ICB to ask the staff inside the hall to withdrawal any amount you want.
