About:Hainan 30-Day Visa-Free Access

Coming to Hainan to visit family - Do we need to register with Travel Agency for 30-day visa free

My wife and I are UK citizens and have booked round trip flights from UK to Hainan, via Dubai and Hong Kong, to visit our son, his Hainanese wife and their baby daughter (our grand-daughter) next month. Do we need to pre-register with a Hainan travel agency to take advantage of the 30-day visa free entry program? We plan to stay with our son and his family for the duration of our stay.

At present the registration to a travel agency is not a must for the 30-day access.

You will need the hotel reservation in Hainan and the flight ticket proving you will leave within 30 days. Note that you need to fly directly to Hainan Meilan Airport to get it without any layover in other cities in Mainland China.
