About:Marriage Registration in China

Legal process for getting married in china

I’m from the Philippines and I have a chinese boyfriend, we are planning on getting married in china. I already got my certificate of no marriage and it has been notarised. What should I do next? Should I go the Chinese consulate to authenticate my single status certificate, and what are those legal documents that I need to submit also. I’m confused
And what are the next procedures?
Thank you 😊😊

Ching, you should bring fully completed Application Form of Consular Legalization, original and copy of your certificate of no marriage, original and copy of your Philippine ID to authenticate your single status certificate in Chinese consulate in Philippines.
Then, you can register at the Civil Affairs Bureau where your boyfriend's Hukou is registered.

Hi, you can notarize your certificate of no marriage at notary public in your home country.
