Transport from Xian Railway Station to Grand Mercure Renmin Square, 319 Dongxin Street, Xi'an

We are traveling from Shanghai on a G-Train and hoping to arrive at Xian North Railway Station at about 7 pm (19.06 hrs) and need transport to the Grand Mercure Hotel, Renmin Square, 319 Dongxin Street, Xi'an, and returning to Shanghai via Xian Railway Station on an overnight Z-Train.
1. Will I be able to purchase tickets to the Terracotta Warriors and also get the free Shuttle pass at that time (7 pm)
2. What is the best mode of transport from the railway station to hotel and return the following day and the approximate cost.
3. Can I purchase train tickets on line and how will they be delivered to me?

1. As I know, the free shuttle bus from North Railway Station to the Terracotta Warriors stop running at around 4pm, so I am afraid that there is no bus available upon your arrival. You are suggested to transfer to your hotel and go to the Terracotta Warriors next day. You can go to the east square of Xian Railway Station which is only 15 minutes’ drive from your hotel and take tourist bus line 5 (306) to the museum in one hour. The bus fare is CNY7 per person and the entrance tickets of the museum can be bought on the spot.

2. Considering that you may take large suitcases, I would suggest you take a taxi directly between railway station and your hotel. For your reference, it costs around CNY50 from the North Railways Station to the hotel and CNY10 from your hotel to Xian Railway Station.

3. As for the train tickets, you may contact the TravelChinaGuide company and they will be pleased to help you book the train tickets and deliver the tickets to you.
