how much does the subway cost in Guangzhou?

My family has a two day stopover in the city. We want to figure out transportation in the city (taxi, subway or bus). Thanks

It is quite economical to travel around the city by metro. The fare may range from CNY 2 to CNY 10 according to the number of stations. :)

I am afraid not. But the one-day pass and three-day pass are available at the ticketing windows of all metro stations. The one-day pass costs CNY 20, and the three-day pass costs CNY 50. Maybe, you can buy two one-day passes.

Or, you can buy Yang Cheng Tong Card at Customer Service Centers, Ticketing Windows of all metro stations, 7-Eleven Convenience Stores, etc. You need to pay CNY 20 as the refundable deposit, and add some value to it. The card can be used on all metro lines, buses and taxis. :)
