About:Marco Polo Memorial Museum

Moving There For Marriage.

So to go there i buy a visitor class l tourist visa then marry the girl after i get there? I'm not sure how to do this and i have nobody helping me at all. I'm from the united states and want to move to china to marry a girl there.

I don't know what to do.

I need help and advice.

Michael, you can go to PRC with a tourist L type and then marry a girl there. Before you go there, you should take those documents with you to register your marriage in PRC including your passport, single status certificate authenticated by the ministry of foreign affairs of USA and the embassy of PRC in USA. After you enter PRC, you two should register your marriage at the International Marriage Registration office of the local Department of Civil Affairs where the girl lives.

Well the united states side said all I needed was a passport , visitor entry permit, and a ticket. The Girl said I should just buy the entry permit and ticket to go there since I have the passport and then solve that at a local office in Her Area On That.

Dear, the documents you need above can promise your entry to PRC. But when you get married in PRC, you will be required to provide single status certificate authenticated by the ministry of foreign affairs of USA and the embassy of PRC in USA. I think you should get it in advance, or it will be troublesome to get one when you in PRC.

You can go to the marriage registration office in where you live and ask for the single status certificate.
