About:Chinese Embassy in Pakistan

I am a dual UK/Pakistan citizen. Can I get a visa here in UK, travel to Islamabad and then to China

I want to leave UK on 14th and fly to Islamabad and then in March/April travel to China to visit Great wall as well as some of the trade fairs.
I have a Chinese friend in Beijing who is willing to send me an invitation.
Will this arrangement be acceptable to authority?

As a whole, your arrangement is acceptable. But you say you want to attend some trade fairs, maybe the invitation letter from the host of the trade fairs is more appropriate for your application and you are suggested to apply for an M type.
