Travel info in Taiwan

1. How to travel from Taipei to Taroko National Park? Cheapest and cost?
2. How to travel from Taroko (Is it in Hualian) to Taichung? Cost?
3. How to get to Taichung Airport if I stay in Taichung? Cost?

1.Take train from Taipei Railway Station to New Town Station. Then take Hualien passenger buses at the station, get off at the destination directly. It is about five kilometers. One-way ticket cost is around 340 NT$ per adult.

2.Take the Hualien passenger buses at Taroko to Hualien Railway Station. Then take the train to the destination directly. One-way ticket cost is around 860 NT$ per adult.

3.You can take airport express bus No.115 at Zhongqing Road, and get to the airport directly.
The cost cannot be estimated exactly because of changeable price.

Q2. So there is a direct train from Hualien to Taichung? Does it go back via Taipei?

Yes, direct trains from Hualien to Taichung are available. They get back via Taipei indeed.

Q2.1 Is there a bus or any transport by Road from Taroko to Taichung since it is more direct? There seems to be a road closure I see somewhere. How long and cost compared to by Train via Taipei as you suggest? And that I need not change trains in Taipei to go to Taichung. Thanks once again.
