Do I needf Z visa working as manager in china even though I am USA employee and salary is from USA?

I am official employee of USA Headquarters, salary paid in USA bank. I am helping setup the business in china and training our China employees. Must I have Z visa and working permit? Previously I was allowed Business F visa to perform this work.

How long will you stay in China to setup the business in china and train the Chinese employees? If less than 6 months, a F visa is ok. If over 6 months, you will have to apply for a Z visa.
