24-hour transit visa

Question

Hello, as a Turkish citizen, I will be using Chengdu Tianfu International Airport with Sichuan Airlines to fly from Japan to Turkey. I have 6 hours of waiting time. Do I need a transit visa? Will there be any problems in my transition?

You do not need any kind of visa. You will not be a subject of any formalities (Immigration and customs) since you will just walk from your arrival gate to your boarding gate and spend your time at the airport. All you will have to pass through is a short security check at the airport between your tow flights. Just proceed with your planned journey with absolute peace of mind.
