About:Visa on Arrival

Vietnam via Shenzhen then Beijing to London

Hi,
I am travelling from Ho Chi Minh to London via Shenzhen ( Air China 3874 operated by Shenzhen Airlines) then to Beijing (AC 3403 operated by Shenzhen Airlines) then on to London (AC855) all with 3 hr stops. I do not plan to exit any transit airport.

I have a UK passport. Do I need to apply for a visa before just to transit the airport please? I am being told two different things by both airline and the travel company.

Thanks!

If your scheduled arrivial time in Shenzhen to scheduled departure time from Beijing is less than 24 hours, no visa is needed as you will be covered by 24-hour visa-free transit.
