Good day everyone. I carry a Canada and Philippines passports as Im dual citizen of both countries. I will be travelling from the Philippines to Los Angeles USA in March but will be transiting in Xiamen for 22 hours. I intend to use my Canadian passport for this trip.  Can I get a VOA in Xiamen airport so that I can enter into Xiamen and visit some tourist spots close to the airport before my flight to LAOur plane arrives at 11PM in Xiamen. Is the office issuing VOAs open 24 hours?

If your flight is by Xiamen air, the it is possible to get 24-hour visa-free transit. If not, I'm afraid it is risky, so you'd better to confirm with your air company in advance.
