How to say the date when refering to the lunar calendar.

Gregorian calendar date: October 2nd, 1969=Lunar calendar date: August 20th, 1969. How do I say this when referring to the date in present tense?

Example: Today is the 20th Day of the 7th Lunar month, 1969.
