visa from hk to shenzhen

Question

I'm a Malaysian passport holder. I plan to visit HK and later to Shenzhen via high speed train. Do I still need a visa to enter shenzhen? Recently, it was announced that Malaysians can visit china visa free for 15 days starting from Dec 1. My trip is scheduled around end of december and early january. Where will be the border check? in kowloon station or in shezhen?

Yes, according to the new policy, you can definitely visit Shenzhen visa-free.  The border check is at West Kowloon Station.
