Chinese visa

Hello
My question is when applying for Chinese visa, do i need to submit POLICE CHARACTER CERTIFICATE And PHYSICAL EXAMINATION RECORD or not please?

What kind of visa are you going to apply for? If for tourist visa, they are not needed; but things may be different case by case.
