I am a Canadian and want to apply for a Chinese tourist visa. I'd like to know if I need a round trip ticket and hotel reservation in order to get a a Chinese tourist visa. Also, how much is the visa application fee and how long will it take to get the visa ready? Thanks.

1. A round trip ticket and hotel reservation are needed. But make sure you have made an appointment to lodge the submission before reserving them. 2. A single-entry costs $162.15. 3. After submitting all the documents, it usually takes 4 working days to process the visa. Generally, it is advised to make the application 1-3 months before the travel.
