About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

I am a New Zealander citizen resident in Perth but do not have a valid certificates of residence.

I plan to visit Shanghai end of July buyt leave Perth mid June. As a New Zealander, retired here, I do not need a residency permit do you need any other "proof" so I can get a Visa to visit China? What do you suggest? Thank you.

(3) Proof of legal status (applicable for those not applying for the visa in their country of citizenship) If you are not applying for a visa in the country of your citizenship, you must provide the original and photocopy of your valid certificates of residence, employment or student status, or other valid certificates of legal stay provided by the relevant authorities of the country where the Visa Centre is located.

You can print the Australian visa information on VEVO website of Australian Department of Internal Affairs and providing International Movement Record may also be required.
