Do i need a guardianship letter when i go for interview a day after i turn 18

Do i need a guardianship letter(both photocopy and original) when i go for interview the day after i turn 18 or can i also go the day i turn 18?

As I know, you don't need it. Generally, those who are under 16 need a guardianship letter.
