About:Chinese Embassy in Italy

What happens if you are from Italy and went China before lockdown and got caught up in the lockdown

and now your visa expired and in order to get an exit visa you have to pay a fine. Cant this fine be not charged due to no fault of us

Sharyn, do you mean you have overstayed in China for several months? If yes, you have to pay the fine in order to get an exit visa.

Hi Vera

Thank you for the response. Yes overstay due to lockdown, no fault of ours. Why should a fine be paid for something beyond our control. Sort of like natural disaster. Just asking
