simatai night tour

Question

i have only one day in Beijing and decided going to Simatai because is the only section that opens at night.I am arriving at 5pm. If i have a reservations, can i still get the tickets at this time? plus, is there enough time to get to the wall and back before the last bus at 9pm? (apparently you have to get the bus tickets 1 hour before). Is there any other transport to Beijing after the last bus? Last but not least Can i Fly a DJI Drone in there?Thanks a lot,Renato UK

Hi, the night tour of the Great Wall starts from 18:00 to 21:00. Generally, you can catch the last bus. If  you missed that, you may take a taxi or stay overnight in Gubei Water Town. As I know, you can fly a drone on the Great Wall but it is not allowed in the town. However, you are still suggested to consult the staff of the scenic area in advance.

Thank you leo! This site says the ticket service is only available at 10am, 12 and 2pm that's what got me confused but reading again it does say it will be open at 17:30 for the night tour.  The mission will be to get the drone registered to fly legally in china. Unfortunately i can not sleep there as i have a flight to Bangkok in the morning from Beijing International Airport. Its a tight schedule, a lot of traveling to be in Simatai for a couple of hours and than already back on the bus. I think it will be worth it.
