China Multi-Entry Visa

We are currently in China on a 3 month Multi-Entry Visa. We are looking to spend a week in Taiwan before returning back to mainland China to continue our travels. Would this present any re-entry issues when returning, or would our 3 month period be renewed once we return to the mainland?

Sorry, I meant we are on a 2 year Multi-Entry Visa, which allows us to stay for 3 months at a time!

Thanks
