About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hour visa exemption. My wife and I are U.K. passport holders

taking an asian cruise out of Hong Kong 7th March 2019 finally calling at Dalian on March 18th, Tianjin March 19th and Shanghai 21st where we embark and spend 2 nights in an hotel before flying back to the U.K. from Shanghai on 24th March 2019. We will be taking short day trips at each stop.
Can we be covered by the 144 hour twov exemption?

You need tourist visas in advance. 144 hours transit without visa won’t apply to you because of the multiple stops in China.
