About:How to Buy Tickets

Beijing to Chengde

Would like to seek consultation as i am currently planning to book train ticket from Beijing to Chengde in advance but kinna wonder on the ticket collection counter operation hours. They open 24/7?
Or advisable to buy at station will do if it is not favourable route.
As of now, planning to book K7711 which depart at 0756 but i am only able to get airport express at 0635. Wonder whether is possible for me to catch it? Thank you.

Beijing Railway Station offer 24 hours service. There will be still a few counters in service even at midnight.

Usually it would take you around 1 hour for immigration check and luggage collection at the airport. If you will take the airport express plus metro line 2 to reach Beijing Railway Station, it would also take around 1 hour normally. In addition, you also need reach the railway station around 1 to 1.5 hours in advance. In this way, the time seems not enough for the K7711 at 07:56am.
