Flight: Paris - Beijing - Hong Kong - Paris Can I benefit the 72h visa free entry to Beijing

Bonjour, i live in Paris, i want to fly to Hong kong in November, via Beijing. Can i benefit the 72hour free Policy? and take the opportunities to have a stop and visit Beijing for less than 72hours, before flying to Hong Kong.
I'm considering to take the following flights:

1. Paris - Beijing Day 1
2. Beijing - Hong kong Day 4
3. Hong Kong - Paris Day10
