About:China Private Visit Visa

Hello, May I know if police clearance or background check is required for a person under S1 type?

Since after S1 type, a person needs to apply for resident permit. Do they need police clearance or background check?

Seider, usually, the police clearance or background check is not needed when you apply for the residence permit.
