Regarding visa for Hong Kong and Hainan island

Hi, I'm visiting Malaysia and I'm thinking of going to vist Hong Kong and Hainan island from there . I have a British passport .please advise regarding visas . Thank you. Lee

You don't need a HK visa, and you can apply for a tourist L type from CVSAC in Malaysia to visit mainland China.
