About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

I hold an M type with 1 entry, with expiration on the 13th April.

I have used this entry some time ago already.
However, now something came up at work and I will have to return to china on the 10th April. Is it possible to apply for a new visa, even though my new entry would be before the expiry date of my previous M type?
