About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

flying to shanghai, changing airports and flying to hong kong. us citizens. do we need a visa?

my husband and I, both US citizens, are flying from Australia to Shanghai. there we need to change airports and have about 5 hours to sightsee. then we fly to hong kong for 5 1/2 days.
do we need a visa for any portion of this time?

If your flights are non-stop then you don't need a visa.
