About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Multiple city trip, starting in YYZ ending with PVG to YYZ

YYZ > HND > TSA > PVG > YYZ
Spending 2 nights in Shanghai.
Dual citizenship: Canada + Mauritius.
Do I need to apply for a visa? And which type?

No matter which passport you will use, you don't need the entry permit for Shanghai.
