About:Embassy & Consulate of South Africa in China

I am currently working in China and I have 2 months left on my work contract.

Hello,

I recently lost my passport and my visa expires on Jan 24th. I would like to extend my visa until the end of February, however I don't have a passport to do this.

Please could you advise me on what the best course of action is?
Thank you so much

You should first report your loss to the police station, and then you can get the loss certificate. Afterwards, go to the embassy of your home country in China to apply for the passport. When you get the passport, you should go to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to handle with the relevant visa and residence issues.
