trying to get back home, have tickets 2 cities in china before us.

Question

Hi,We are in Taiwan, we have tickets to go to Wuhan for 1 day and then Shanghai for 1 day then back to US from Shanghai. I was told I need a visa bc the 24 free pass is not something we can take advantage in our situation. Were can I apply for this express service? We have US passport.

Since your layover in the two cities totals up to more than 24 hours, the 24h direct transit policy is not available. You need to apply for a visa. If you mean to get it fast, you can use the express service at the Chinese embassy or consulate which is responsible for your residence area.
