Question

I am a Ghanaian marrying a Chinese, she is coming to Ghana to get married to me and want to go back to China with her to start a family there in PRC. Do I need an L visa and what is minimum amount that has to be on my bank statement to apply for this visa. Can I use her bank statement(she sponsoring my travel) I need some answers thank you. Andy

Andrew, if you want to stay in PRC for a long time, you are advised to apply for a family reunion Q type. There is no requirement for how much you should have in your bank account and you can possibly use your wife’s bank statement.
