Bringing dogs to China

So my husband and I are going to China. My husband will be working and I will be staying home. My husband will get Z visa and I will get S1 visa. And we have 2 dogs they are medium-sized and they are my babies. I read so many articles that only Z visa can bring a dog per passport. So it means that S1 visa can not bring a dog? So it means that we can bring only one dog to China? Any body answer please!!!!

According to the regulations, one is allowed to take in only one pet regardless of the visa type. That is to say, you and your husband can take both of them in. Do prepare the quarantine documents and health certificate in advance.
