i am arriving in guangzhou at around 11:00 in the morning from hong kong.

Question

I intend to stay the day in Guangzhou and stay at a hotel on Shamian island. In the morning of day 2, I will take a bus to Kaiping and tour the diaolou the day. I will sleep in Kaiping. On day 3 I will return to GZ in the morning, spend the day there and in the evening return to Shenzhen.In GZ I want to see:Canton towerChen clan academyShamian islandYuexiu park (5 ram statue and Sun yat sen memorial)opera houseGuangzhou museumPanxi restaurantAlso I would like to visit the Tomb of the Nanyue King.Are 1 and a half or 2 days enough to see this? If yes, what other attractions would also be of interest? Could you give me a small itinerary of which attractions to see on which days? Which transport should I use to get around?Thank you.

Upon arrival, you can spend the afternoon visiting Canton Tower, GZ Opera House, Shamian Island and stay overnight on the island. Spend the whole day exploring the Kaiping Diaolou and Villages on the second day. You may take bus at GZ Bus Terminal to Kaiping and the ride takes around 1.5 hours for one way. On the last day, you are suggested to visit Yuexiu Park, GZ Museum, Tomb of the Nanyue King and Temple of the Chen Family. If there is still time, you may go to Panxi restaurant for lunch. It is convenient to get around by public transportation like subway, bus or taxi.
