About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Is it possible to bypass the CVASC and avoid the 49.50 fee?

Australian passport holder visiting China for the first time.
No time restriction on the application process.

Steve, I'm afraid you have to apply via the CVASC. The embassy will not accept your application I think.
